Lochmueller Group is a regional engineering consulting firm focused on infrastructure, and they are looking for a talented Water Resources Project Engineer/Project Manager to join their growing Water Resources Department in Kansas City, Missouri. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing project designs, managing projects, and ensuring compliance with various regulations while working closely with clients and utilizing modeling software.

Responsibilities

Develop project designs in conformance with the latest design standards

May be assigned management of projects and will be given budgetary limitations and staffing to complete the project

Stay current on available modeling software and utilizes it to efficiently design facilities

Develop, read, and interpret schematic and construction plans

Manage the production of drawings in AutoCAD and/or MicroStation

Perform design quantity computations and checks for developing opinions of probable construction cost

Understand and work with surveying data provided from survey department

Apply a variety of specification regulations, policies and standards to assure compliance with various Federal, State, and local rules and regulations

Work with clients to pursue project funding through available funding agencies while following funding agency practices and policies

Perform business development activities to assist with the growth of our Water Resources service line
