Responsibilities

Lead electrical design for power distribution, lighting, and fire alarm systems across commercial and institutional projects
Direct projects from concept through completion, ensuring designs meet budget, schedule, and client requirements
Mentor and supervise junior engineers while maintaining quality assurance across deliverables
Work closely with architects, mechanical engineers, contractors, and clients to align designs with project goals
Ensure all electrical systems adhere to NEC, NFPA, and state/local building codes, along with industry best practices
Utilize AutoCAD, Revit, and electrical analysis tools to produce drawings, models, and technical documentation

Required

Active Professional Engineer (PE) license is required
10+ years in electrical engineering with proven project management experience across commercial, institutional, or industrial projects
Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and electrical modeling/analysis software, with advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and project scheduling platforms
Strong understanding of NEC, NFPA, energy codes, and electrical design/build standards
Excellent leadership and communication abilities, with strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
