Airswift is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Project Estimator I to join our client’s project estimating team in Juno Beach. The successful candidate will play a key role in preparing and managing cost estimates, ensuring accuracy, feasibility, and alignment with project goals.

Responsibilities

Lead and prepare detailed project cost estimates (conceptual, preliminary, and definitive)

Develop pricing models and perform value engineering analysis

Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to gather and analyze project documentation

Maintain estimation tools, databases, and methodologies

Conduct risk assessments and develop contingency plans

Present estimates and value engineering options to stakeholders

Coordinate with contractors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing

Track project costs and variances throughout the lifecycle

Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements

Required

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field

Minimum 2 years of experience in project estimating, with a focus on conceptual engineering and project design

Experience in utility-scale energy projects (renewables, power generation, transmission)

Proficiency in value engineering principles

Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and equipment

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Preferred

Master's or Post-Graduate Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or Business

3+ years of estimating experience and 1+ year in field engineering or construction management

Experience with cost estimation software (e.g., PlanSwift, WinEst, CostX)

Familiarity with project management tools (MS Project, Primavera P6)
