Director of Property Operations - Signia by Hilton Indianapolis
Hilton is seeking an accomplished Director of Property Operations to join the team during the pre-opening phase of Signia by Hilton Indianapolis. In this leadership role, you will develop systems and processes that ensure the operational excellence of the hotel, overseeing all facets of engineering, facilities management, and life safety.

Responsibilities
Direct and oversee the functionality and safety of the facility, including, but not limited to, physical buildings, mechanical equipment, electrical systems, heating and cooling systems, life safety systems and grounds according to federal, state and local regulations
Conduct facility inspections
Assign, verify and document completion of all routine maintenance and repairs in the property maintenance management system Direct, oversee and maintain required documentation for energy management and conservation and preventive maintenance programs
Lead, manage and communicate information about capital projects and property rehabilitations, including, but not limited to, scheduling, budgeting and complying with contractor bidding standard
Direct daily department operations including, but not limited to, guest service standards and initiatives, product quality, inventory management and cost controls, systems use and management, budgeting and forecasting, adherence to federal, state and local standards and meeting participation and facilitation
Monitor and develop team member performance to include, but not limited to, providing supervision and professional development, conducting counseling and evaluations and delivering recognition and reward
Recruit, interview and train team members
Qualification
Required
Experience in property operations management, particularly in a hotel or hospitality setting
Strong knowledge of engineering, facilities management, and life safety systems
Ability to develop systems, processes, and teams for operational excellence
Experience in managing capital projects and property rehabilitations
Strong leadership skills with the ability to monitor and develop team member performance
Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
Ability to conduct facility inspections and maintain required documentation
Strong communication skills to lead and manage daily department operations
Ability to recruit, interview, and train team members
Preferred
Experience in a pre-opening hotel environment
Familiarity with federal, state, and local regulations related to hotel operations
Demonstrated ability to deliver exceptional guest experiences
Experience in energy management and conservation programs
