Responsibilities
Collaborate with individuals from Human Resources and other related departments to schedule one-on-one job observation times
Work directly with each area of the department to gain an understanding of the roles within each area as well as the wide variety of positions within the company
Actively participate in weekly meetings within the department to further understand Human Resources, as well as the company as a whole
Collaborate with other employees on how to better the future of the company
Alphabetize and file confidential/government information while maintaining extreme confidentiality
Maintain reliable attendance
Actively participate in departmental meetings, training and/or educational opportunities
Complete other assignments and special projects as requested
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or equivalent
One year of post secondary education in an HR/Business related field
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Excellent interpersonal skills
Excellent grammar and spelling skills
Effective time management and organizational skills
Work independently as well as in a team environment
Analytical and problem solving skills
Maintain confidentiality
Working knowledge of Continuous Improvement
Handle multiple projects simultaneously within established time constraints
Proficient computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office Suite, internet
Perform under strong demands in a fast-paced environment
Display empathy, understanding and patience with employees and external customers
Respond professionally in situations with difficult employee/vendor/customer issues or inquiries
