Transfer Agency, Assistant Vice President

Responsibilities
Responsible for day to day operations of groups by managing workflows
Provides staffing recommendations by interviewing and making effective hiring decisions
Responsible for performance management of employees
May have two or more supervisors as direct reports
May have ten or more indirect reports
Develop and maintain strong client relationships
Collaborate with other TA business units as well as other departments within State Street
Responsible for managing client Service Level Agreements and ensuring they are met
Responsible for managing internal and external KPI’s and ensuring they are met
Develop and implement process improvements and effectively manage change to ensure departmental objectives are met
Handle and resolve complex operational issues as they arise
Manage departments overtime budget effectively, indirectly responsible other department budget matters
Manage other projects or tasks as assigned
Qualification
Required
Financial service experience
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Supervise with operational focus in area of functional expertise
Manage the activities of individual contributors or supervisors in a section or department with accountability for results in terms of costs, strategies and employees
