Responsibilities
Partner with business and technology stakeholders to build scalable data and analytics solutions
Translate high-level business requirements into end-to-end analytical and technical solutions
Work closely with client analytics teams to understand data sources, relationships, and business rules
Perform exploratory data analysis to identify insights, trends, and data issues
Identify opportunities for advanced analytics, reporting, automation, ML, and NLP
Create and manage business and technical user stories in Jira
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and meet project goals
Qualification
Required
8+ years of experience in Business Analysis and Data Analysis
Strong SQL skills for data analysis and validation
Mortgage domain experience (mandatory)
Experience working in Agile environments with Jira
Ability to translate business requirements into technical rules and methodologies
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Ability to quickly learn business operations and adapt to changing requirements
Comfortable working fully onsite in McLean, VA
Preferred
Experience with Securitization, Freddie Mac, or Fannie Mae
Hands-on experience executing Python scripts
Familiarity with command-line tools and log analysis
Exposure to advanced analytics, automation, ML, or NLP
