Director of In-Home Sales
Adams, Inc. is a family-owned organization in the building trades industry, and they are seeking a Director of In-Home Sales to lead their Home Services Division. This role involves developing sales strategies, managing a sales team, and driving growth across various service lines including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC services.

Responsibilities
Lead the sales strategy and execution for the Adams’ Home Services Division
Develop a dynamic sales team, designing and implementing division-wide sales strategies
Set and monitor quotas, analyzing performance data
Collaborate with key teammates and industry partners to build and execute market plans
Engage directly with customers and drive growth across all service lines
Ensure ethical sales practices and accurate representation of services across all channels
Maintain transparency in quota setting, performance reviews, and customer interactions
Uphold company standards in all customer-facing communications and proposals
Foster a culture of accountability and trust within the sales team
Lead, coach, and develop the sales team to achieve individual and team goals
Collaborate with production and support teams to align sales efforts with operational capacity
Promote a positive, performance-driven culture that values growth and recognition
Support professional development through training, mentorship, and feedback
Work cross-functionally with marketing, operations, and finance to build and execute market plans
Engage with customers to understand needs, build relationships, and close strategic deals
Partner with leadership to align sales goals with company-wide initiatives
Build vendor and referral relationships to expand market reach
Bring energy, resilience, and a solution-oriented mindset to daily challenges
Encourage innovation and adaptability in sales tactics and customer engagement
Lead by example in handling objections, setbacks, and competitive pressures
Inspire confidence and enthusiasm across the sales team and broader organization
Design and implement sales strategies that drive growth across all home services
Set, monitor, and adjust sales quotas based on market conditions and team performance
Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement and provide reporting to senior leadership
Ensure high-quality customer interactions and follow-through from initial contact to post-sale support - creating a best practice customer journey
Align sales strategies with long-term company goals and community impact
Manage resources responsibly, including time, budget, and personnel
Contribute to the sustainability of the business through market and customer retention strategies
Represent Adams with professionalism and integrity in all external engagements
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 7 years of sales leadership experience in home services or construction trades (HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, Solar, or related industries) required
Proven experience leading effective sales teams required
Proven success in designing and executing sales strategies across multiple service lines within a growth-oriented environment required
Familiarity with project management software and standard business software required
Experience with CRM and sales performance tools required
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with clients, team members, and stakeholders required
Ability to anticipate challenges, troubleshoot issues, and implement effective solutions under pressure required
Strong leadership and team management skills to motivate and guide teams through accountability and positive team culture required
Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record and a willingness to travel to job sites is required
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in business administration, construction management, marketing, or related field preferred
An equivalent combination of education and relevant industry experience may be considered in lieu of a formal degree
Knowledge of ServiceTitan software a plus
