The role involves hands-on development, configuration, and integration of Guidewire BillingCenter with PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, and external financial systems, ensuring accurate billing, invoicing, payments, and reconciliation.

Responsibilities
Design, configure, and develop solutions in Guidewire BillingCenter using Gosu and PCF
Implement billing workflows including invoicing, payments, commissions, refunds, and delinquency
Customize Billing Plans, Charges, Payment Methods, and Account Management
Develop and maintain integrations with PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, General Ledger, and external payment systems
Work on Batch processes , plugins, and event messaging
Perform data migration and upgrades for BillingCenter versions
Write unit tests and support SIT, UAT, and production deployments
Troubleshoot production issues and provide performance optimization
Collaborate with Business Analysts, QA, and DevOps teams
Ensure compliance with insurance regulations and financial controls
Qualification
Required
09+ Years of IT Industry experience and 4+ years of hands-on experience with Guidewire BillingCenter
Strong knowledge of Gosu, PCF, and Guidewire Studio
Experience with BillingCenter data model and batch framework
P&C Insurance domain knowledge (billing, premium, receivables)
Experience with Guidewire Integration Framework (Gosu APIs, Web Services, Messaging)
Strong SQL skills (Oracle / SQL Server / PostgreSQL)
Familiarity with Guidewire Cloud (GWCP) is a plus
Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies
Preferred
Guidewire Certifications (BillingCenter Developer or Integration)
Experience with Guidewire Digital Portals
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, Git, Maven
Exposure to payment gateways and financial systems
Experience in Guidewire upgrades (v9 → v10)
