Responsibilities
Oversee packing line activities in accordance with work orders and established procedures
Monitor production stations to maintain efficiency, accuracy, and proper workflow
Enforce safety policies and promote a safe, organized production environment
Train, support, and coach production employees to improve productivity and safe work practices
Perform quality checks to ensure finished goods meet standards prior to release to the warehouse
Communicate clearly with management and production staff to ensure expectations and procedures are understood
Ensure raw materials and packaging components are available, properly used, and replenished as needed
Assist in creating production work orders based on demand and historical trends
Maintain a positive and cooperative working relationship with Quality Control
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or GED required
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Ability to follow and help enforce written procedures and schedules
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
Working knowledge of workplace safety practices (OSHA familiarity preferred)
Ability to read safety documentation (MSDS/SDS) and complete basic written reports
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
