Responsibilities
Prepare complex federal and state tax returns for individuals, trusts, and partnerships
Coordinate with Capstone’s Wealth Advisors to gather and organize client information and tax documents
Calculate estimated tax payments
Interact effectively with Wealth Advisors, Financial Planners, and Client Service Specialists
Review complex federal and state tax returns for individuals; trust & business returns a plus
Ensure that each tax return is accurately prepared
Conduct tax research and provide guidance to tax preparers, when needed
Provide possible tax savings opportunities to Wealth Advisors
Review estimated tax payment calculations
Qualification
Required
3+ years of relevant tax compliance experience
Proficiency with Microsoft Office
Adaptability in a paperless environment
Strong communicator with good interpersonal skills
Preferred
CPA or EA designation
Lacerte and SurePrep experience
Experience with high-net-worth clients
