Maverick Power is a fast-growing company in the DFW area specializing in power distribution solutions. They are seeking an Automation Engineer to support the development, testing, and deployment of power distribution equipment, working closely with various teams and interfacing with customers.

Responsibilities

Design and deploy PLC and HMI projects specific to power distribution systems

Provide hands-on support to the testing department for system validation and troubleshooting

Travel to customer sites as needed (approximately 6–8 weeks per year; more may be required based on project needs)

Serve as the primary contact and mentor for junior engineers

Assist in the selection and implementation of components in coordination with the engineering team

Interface directly with customers to ensure technical needs are met and communicated clearly

Performs other job-related duties as assigned
