Responsibilities
Develop and implement inventory strategies to optimize stock levels, reduce costs, and ensure the availability of Industrial and MRO materials to support production and facility operations
Analyze inventory data to identify trends, usage patterns, and opportunities for improvement
Implement best practices to enhance inventory accuracy and efficiency
Collaborate with the procurement, Operations and maintenance teams to forecast material needs based on historical data, maintenance schedules, and upcoming projects
Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials, negotiate favorable terms, and resolve any discrepancies
Utilize inventory management software and data analysis tools to monitor inventory performance, generate reports, and provide actionable insights for decision-making
Identify and implement process improvements to streamline inventory management, reduce waste, and enhance overall efficiency
Ensure all inventory activities comply with safety regulations and company policies, maintaining a safe, organized and efficient storage environment
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Data Analytics or related field with 4-6 years of relevant work experience or equivalent
Proficiency in data analysis tools and software
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience with CMMS and Inventory Management software
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred
Master's Degree
CMRP, CRL, CRE
