Responsibilities
Deliver innovative and code-compliant structural solutions across the New York City Metropolitan area
Create accurate construction drawings, specifications, and BIM models
Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, review shop drawings and RFIs, and conduct on-site inspections to verify construction quality
Qualification
Required
Must possess a green card or be of citizenship
Seven years of experience delivering innovative and code-compliant structural solutions across the New York City Metropolitan area
Strong expertise in structural analysis, design, and detailing for a wide range of building types, including residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects
Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and advanced structural design software with either (ETABS, SAP2000, STAAD. Ro, Tekla)
Proven ability to create accurate construction drawings, specifications, and BIM models
In-depth knowledge of New York City Building Codes, DOB regulations, zoning requirements, and national standards (IBC, ASCE 7, ACI, AISC, AASHTO)
Extensive experience collaborating with architects, MEP engineers, and contractors
Ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams, review shop drawings and RFIs, and conduct on-site inspections to verify construction quality
Experience with new construction, renovations, and retrofits projects
Strong focus on structural integrity, cost-effectiveness, and constructability
Expertise in steel, concrete, masonry, and timber design
Strong understanding of high-rise, foundation, and superstructure systems
Experience with DOB filing, Local Law compliance, and special inspections
Ability to optimize designs for safety, sustainability, and project efficiency
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and team leadership skills
