Responsibilities
Perform complex financial analysis and report findings to management
Review and reconcile medium to high complexity balance sheet accounts (cash, revenue, receivable, expense, liability accruals)
Analyze financial data for significant fluctuations and communicate with departments to validate transactions
Prepare account reconciliations and audit workpapers for internal/external reviews
Support Federal and State compliance reporting (e.g., Federal Plan, HIPAA, IRS 1099, escheat/unclaimed property reporting) and interpret regulatory requirements
Manage and coordinate updates to compliance reporting procedures
Review and approve general ledger account reconciliations and payment balancing worksheets
Assist management with payment transactions, ledger reporting, and reconciliations
Participate in projects and systems testing to support corporate initiatives/systems upgrades
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent combination of education/experience)
Typically 3+ years of related accounting/financial experience
Strong analytical and communication skills
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel
Preferred
Experience in healthcare or insurance environments
Familiarity with claims processing or payment systems
