Resource 1, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Data Quality Analyst for a long-term contract in downtown Chicago. The role involves ensuring the quality, accuracy, and integrity of key data elements during a financial transformation initiative, including data migration and cleansing tasks.

Responsibilities

Analyze and document current-state legacy/ source systems and data architecture to help inform future state
Create and maintain detailed source-to-target mappings to guide the migration process and ensure correct data transformation
Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and ensure accurate mapping and transformation across systems
Write complex SQL queries to extract and validate data across large datasets
Use Informatica CDQ to cleanse and profile data, ensuring data is accurate, consistent, and complete
Conduct data validation and reconciliation before, during, and after migration to ensure consistency across systems
Collaborate with the business, Data Analysts, Business Analysts, ERP team, and reporting and legacy system SMEs to ensure data readiness for the new platform
Provide ongoing support to consulting partner performing migrations before, during, and after the migration, addressing any data-related requests or issues that arise

Required

8+ years of experience as a Data Analyst
Proven experience in data migration projects, specifically with ERP systems, preferably Dynamics 365
Experience creating source-to-target mappings
Proficiency in SQL, with experience in data extraction, transformation, and validation
Hands-on experience in data cleansing and data profiling
Experience working with Informatica CDQ or other similar data quality tools (such as IBM InfoSphere, Talend, etc.)
Proven experience working with complex data sets and ecosystems
Ability to work independently, driven to take on tasks, supporting team members and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Preferred

Experience working on D365 data migration projects
Experience with Informatica CDQ
Experience in rail, manufacturing, or supply chain industries
Familiarity with Microsoft Azure DevOps (ADO) for tracking and documentation
Experience mapping data from various databases, including IBM DB2
