Responsibilities
Maintain working knowledge of Supply Chain system and capabilities
Create and maintain sales forecasts for new and existing products by analyzing historical data to establish reasonable logic for projected sales volume
Independently analyze Material Requirements Planning (MRP) to determine inventory balance and ordering quantities of existing products. Make critical decisions regarding such inventory balances and ordering quantities
Maintain MRP files by uploading and/or updating sales forecast files
Review and analyze Supply Chain system prompts for production work orders
Analyze and maintain inventory balance between production facilities and Distribution facilities
Review production schedule to ensure product is produced timely to avert stock-outs and excess inventory
Ensures timely delivery of goods and/or services and expedite products when needed
Work with Shipping on low inventory and pending order resolution
Assist Forecasting & Planning Manager in other forecasting tasks as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelors degree in Supply Chain or related field
A natural orientation for continuous improvement and problem solving
A collaborative approach and willingness to engage in an environment of active idea sharing
Sharp organizational skills and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
The ability to produce consistent quality under deadline pressure while paying careful attention to detail
Self-motivation and a strong sense of ownership and accountability
