Responsibilities
Manage your own routes
Assist with any customer service-related interactions including escalations
Serve as a liaison for our client (local furniture retailer)
Handle any delivery related issues
Track your team's progress
Manage and coordinate routes
Ensure coverage for any unexpected absences
Have contingency plan in event of truck breakdown
Qualification
Required
Established furniture delivery business with 26ft box truck (lift gate) and a team of two (driver and helper)
Backup delivery team and 2nd truck
2+ years' experience managing a delivery business
Established LLC
DOT and MC number
Commercial insurance (cannot accept Progressive policy)
2 26ft box trucks with lift gates
2 teams skilled in white glove furniture delivery (1 team will be on call)
Strong customer service skills
Exceptional phone etiquette
Computer savvy (MS Office, Zendesk)
Ability to de-escalate tense customer interactions-in person or over the phone
