Responsibilities
Process and enter accounts payable invoices accurately and in a timely manner
Manage accounts receivable invoicing, payment posting, and follow-ups on outstanding balances
Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
Assist with month-end WIP closing and reconciliation
Compile and analyze client projects and internal department budgets
Communicate with vendors and customers regarding payment status and inquiries
Maintain accurate and organized financial records
Support compliance with company policies and accounting standards
Collaborate with the finance team to improve processes and workflows
Qualification
Required
2+ years of experience in accounts payable and/or accounts receivable roles; preferably in a services industry
Strong understanding of GAAP
Experience with ERP/accounting software; NetSuite and Tipalti experience strongly preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Google Workspace
Knowledge of payment processing best practices
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Hybrid to the Chicago office
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field, or equivalent work experience
Preferred
Experience with ERP/accounting software; NetSuite and Tipalti experience strongly preferred
