Performs a variety of laboratory experiments and procedures
Prepares specimens
Oversees supply management
Operates and properly maintains equipment
Assist in histological analysis of mouse tissues, microscopy, and other biochemical assays (Western Blotting, Elisa, PCR)
Trained in cell sorting techniques, Next Gen sequencing and analysis of transcriptional profiles, histology techniques, and confocal microscopy
Help maintain transgenic mouse colony; perform all needed animal husbandry tasks and genotyping
Help maintain and perform in vitro experiments
Assist processing and handling of samples associated with different studies, including sample entry into a central database
Assist with database entry and data management, as well as daily lab operations
