The Controller will oversee fund accounting, reporting, and performance analytics for real estate investment funds and separate accounts, playing a critical role in the firm's financial operations.

Responsibilities
Prepare and review quarterly and annual financials in accordance with U.S. GAAP and NCREIF PREA Reporting Standards
Oversee fund accounting activities, including consolidations, journal entries, NAVs, and capital activity
Manage audit and tax coordination
Analyze and report fund and investment performance metrics; support investor and consultant reporting
Partner with portfolio management to assess performance drivers and benchmark against NCREIF indices
Administer Yardi for property and fund-level accounting; support systems integration and process improvements
Qualification
Required
8-12 years of real estate fund accounting experience
Working knowledge of NCREIF PREA Reporting Standards (NPRS) is a plus
Hands-on experience with Yardi
Experience supporting institutional investors, pension funds, and consultants
Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and fair value accounting (ASC 820)
Advanced Excel skills, including calculating IRRs, waterfalls, and related analyses
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
Preferred
CPA, MBA, or CFA preferred
