Due Diligence Consultant
ESE Partners is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join their Due Diligence team as Staff II in Central Texas. The successful candidate will lead the Central Texas Due Diligence team, manage Phase I ESAs, and develop relationships with clients while ensuring project timelines and budget constraints are met.

Responsibilities
Deliver the professional consulting services offered by ESE Partners using ESE delivery systems and methodologies
Manage numerous projects simultaneously with a focus on Natural Resources
Develop scopes of work, proposals, budget estimates, and project strategies for various types of environmental projects
Lead preparation of various Due Diligence related reports, including Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs), Desktop Reviews, and Transaction Screens
Prepare detailed and comprehensive Phase I ESA reports, including findings, conclusions, and recommendations
Conduct site visits and inspections to identify potential environmental
Ensure all Central Texas Phase I ESAs are completed within project timelines and budget constraints, and in accordance with ASTM 1527
Stay updated on industry regulations, guidelines, and best practices for environmental site
Negotiate with regulators on behalf of clients
Manage subcontractor accounts
Manage client accounts and approve client invoices prior to delivery
Attend sales meetings and presentations, as necessary
Promote the development of staff careers
Assist in the training and mentoring of junior staff on the Due Diligence team
Provide technical and marketing/sales assistance to other team members when called upon
Develop, maintain and grow professional relationships with clients and customers
Collaborate with other team members and departments to support project
Maintain an average utilization target of 85%
Perform other project duties, as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Engineering, or a related field
Minimum of 8 years of experience in managing Due Diligence projects
Strong knowledge of ASTM 1527 standards and environmental regulations
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in report writing and documentation
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel for site assessments
Preferred
Experience with managing a team
Experience with conducting business development activities
Knowledge of Phase II Environmental Site Assessments and remediation processes
