Responsibilities
Review ADR/TPE requests, evaluate charts, and identify documentation gaps and risks
Prepare clean, organized packets that address denial reasons and support eligibility
Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to agency leadership
Maintain Medicare-aligned standards while respecting each agency’s workflow
Partner directly with clients to support quality, compliance, and operational integrity
Qualification
Required
RN with at least 5 years of hospice and/or home health experience
Experience managing and responding to ADRs, TPEs, and denials
Strong chart review and documentation quality skills
Ability to evaluate eligibility, coverage, F2F, terminality support, and documentation gaps
Working knowledge of Medicare/MAC requirements and audit expectations
HIPAA-sensitive work with strict privacy and confidentiality expectations
Password-protected computer and secure home internet required
Contractor provides and maintains their own equipment, software, and workspace
Flexibility for deadlines and possible evening and weekend work (make your own schedule)
Preferred
Familiarity with Connex, iQIES, Palmetto/NGS
EMR experience with Firenote, HCHB, WellSky, Axxess, Careficient/Optima
Experience assembling appeals or addressing denial reason codes
