Investor Reporting Analyst
Confidential company is a financial services organization, and they are seeking an Investor Reporting Analyst to prepare, verify, analyze, and reconcile reporting functions. The role involves generating reports related to client loan portfolios and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Responsibilities
Prepare, balance, analyze, and process cash remittances and loan payoffs across multiple business lines
Process and properly record fees received by or due from counterparties. Use a variety of automated tools designed to maintain the integrity of the fee acceptance and reconciliation process across multiple servicing systems
Reconcile custodial accounts to maintain accurate records, ensure compliance, and resolve exceptions
Manage and track contractual pricing changes to ensure accurate client invoicing
Adhere to client contracts, guidelines, payment requirements, and reporting standards
Review, analyze, and process corporate advance activity
Analyze loan data, trends, patterns, and servicing performance
Process relevant invoicing in connection with loan onboarding and release
Collaborate with internal departments to manage invoices and cash flows and resolve discrepancies
Complete special reporting and invoicing requirements handled outside the servicing system
Understand specific client reporting requirements and work with management to tailor reports accordingly
Use and develop exception reports to assist in cash, payment, and fee controls. Use and develop reports to assist with research of payments, fees and remittances
Research and respond accurately and timely to client inquiries via email or phone
Ensure all assigned tasks are completed accurately and within established contractual, regulatory or internal turnarounds
Comply with regulatory and Government-Sponsored Enterprise (GSE) reporting requirements
Prepare, analyze, and submit required reports to regulatory bodies and GSEs within established turnarounds
Confirm that reporting practices align with the latest regulatory standards and guidelines
Actively engage in servicing system scheduled events and independently troubleshoot issues as necessary
Escalate any system or process issues to management for review and resolution
Complete other special projects and duties assigned
Demonstrate professionalism through accuracy, consistency, and reliability
Communicate clearly, courteously, and proactively
Recommend solutions and improvements to resolve issues promptly
Keep management informed of relevant operational matters
Maintain the quality and integrity of the services delivered by the department
Apply strong problem-solving and analytical skills relied upon by internal and external clients
Learn and manage multiple workflows and processes across diverse business lines
Keep management informed of department activities and any significant problems
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field from four-year College or University
In lieu of bachelor's degree, five plus years mortgage servicing analyst experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
Previous reconciliation and/or accounting/finance experience
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data
Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Proficiency in reporting software and tools, including advanced Excel skills
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, management, and cross-functional teams
Ability to understand, implement, and follow procedures designed to comply with client contracts, regulations and GSE guidelines, and business objectives
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment
Ability to learn and apply State and Federal Compliance regulations
