Responsibilities
Serve as a technical resource for field crews and subcontractors, interpreting drawings and specs
Assist with planning, estimating, and project documentation to support smooth operations
Help prepare and implement the project management plan alongside the project team
Perform quantity calculations and verify installed materials for accurate progress tracking
Provide field layout and surveying support, setting elevation and control points as needed
Maintain quality control by reviewing submittals, RFIs, and ensuring installations meet specs
Track daily labor timesheets, material deliveries, and maintain up-to-date project records
Support jobsite safety through participation in safety reviews, toolbox talks, and training
Assist with scheduling, coordinating material deliveries, and helping keep the project on track
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
5 years of industry experience, ready to grow and contribute on Willmeng projects
Brings hands-on experience through internships or entry-level roles in construction
Demonstrates a strong foundation in safety practices and jobsite planning
Communicates clearly and collaborates effectively with project teams and field crews
Shows a keen interest or background in heavy civil work—earthwork, paving, grading, excavation, or bridgework
