Responsibilities
Performing cash application reconciliations between accounting software and internal data management systems
Importing, reviewing, and processing batch check transactions
Reconciling balance sheet accounts and researching discrepancies
Reviewing batch transactions to ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness
Managing trust accounting activities, including oversight of multiple bank accounts and related transactions
Maintaining detailed and compliant records for all trust-related financial activity
Utilizing technology and automation tools, including AI-driven solutions, to improve accounting workflows
Serving as a point of contact for internal stakeholders, clients, and attorneys regarding cash-related inquiries
Communicating professionally while maintaining strict confidentiality of financial and client information
Supporting audits, reporting requests, and special projects as needed
Qualification
Required
Two (2) or more years of experience in cash applications, accounts receivable, or general accounting
Strong understanding of cash posting, reconciliations, and balance sheet accounts
High level of attention to detail and accuracy
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Comfort working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment
Authorization to work in the United States
Preferred
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Experience with accounting software; familiarity with QuickBooks Online
