Operator I Job
Arkema is a company involved in the production of chemical products, and they are seeking an Operator I to manage the production process. The role involves material staging, operating equipment, conducting in-process testing, and packaging finished products while ensuring quality and safety standards are met.

Responsibilities
Perform raw material staging for batches
Operate production vessels, including batch reactors and blenders
Use automated and manual process controls to adjust process parameters
Package finished products in drums and IBCs
Complete batch sheets, logbooks and other records neatly and accurately
Sample batches and perform in-process Quality Control testing
Perform other duties or training as required or requested
Demonstrate mechanical aptitude by performing minor maintenance
Identify, troubleshoot, and diagnose equipment and process issues
Complete required safety training
Qualification
Required
Good communications skills in English, both written and verbal
Good mechanical aptitude
Good troubleshooting abilities
Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
Ability to work independently
Ability to work with cross-functional teams and support other departments
Exhibit good judgement, dependability, initiative and a positive attitude
Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent
3+ years of chemical environment experience
Ability to work rotating shifts, overtime, or other hours as required
Experience in forklift operation
Ability to perform physical essentials (climb stairs and/or ladders, lift up to 50 pounds, wear FRC uniforms, wear full face respirator occasionally)
