Registered Nurse (RN) - Operating Room Internship

The Registered Nurse II – Surgery Intern role is responsible for the management of patient care, including clinical nursing practice, leadership, and the independent assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.

Responsibilities

Monitor, position and assist patient during procedure
Communicate all pertinent information with the surgical team continuously regarding patient condition in order to provide safe, reliable care
Interacting with and overseeing Surgical Technologist and other personnel in the Operating Room
Use current OR technology and equipment

Qualification

Registered Nurse LicenseBLS CertificationACLS CertificationBSN DegreeAcute Care Experience

Required

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required
Current applicable state(s) license as a Registered Professional Nurse required
Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date

Preferred

BSN preferred
ACLS certification preferred
One year of acute care RN experience preferred
