Responsibilities

Assemble, repair, align, and calibrate robotic systems and subassemblies in accordance with approved Service Manuals (SMs), Manufacturing Process Instructions (MPIs), and engineering documentation
Utilize hand tools, power tools, fixtures, and templates to perform precision mechanical and electromechanical assembly
Install, configure, program, and troubleshoot programmable controllers
Execute robot calibration and alignment procedures
Perform functional and performance testing of robotic assemblies using appropriate test equipment (e.g., force sensors, multimeters)
Develop, execute, and improve test procedures for complex electromechanical systems
Analyze, document, and report test results in accordance with quality system requirements
Support system teardown, packaging, and shipment activities
Implement and maintain UDI-compliant labeling processes
Adhere to THINK Surgical safety policies and procedures at all times
Perform troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance on factory systems
Provide technical escalation support to Factory and Field Service teams
Support field service activities as required, including on-site troubleshooting
Partner with R&D, Quality Assurance, and Regulatory Affairs on CAPAs, complaints, engineering change notices (ECNs), sustaining engineering efforts, and product improvements
Participate in verification and validation (V&V) testing for new products and software releases
Communicate field and customer feedback to support serviceability and product enhancement initiatives
Respond to technical and application inquiries from service teams, clinical teams, distributors, and customer service
Travel to customer sites for service, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance as required

Required

Associate degree, technical certification, or equivalent combination of education and experience in electronics, advanced mechanics, software, or medical device manufacturing/service
Minimum of two (2) years of experience as a service or manufacturing technician supporting complex electromechanical systems in a regulated environment
Ability to read, interpret, and update assembly drawings, bills of materials, wiring diagrams, and schematics
Working knowledge of GMPs, ISO 13485, FDA QSR, and quality system requirements
Proficiency with basic Windows-based computer applications
Ability to develop and follow moderately complex technical instructions
Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential job functions
Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and applicable Quality System Standards
