Sr Accountant, Intercompany (Oracle) - Loveland, CO

The Sr Accountant, Intercompany role involves overseeing intercompany transactions, resolving disputes, and improving processes while ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance.

Responsibilities
Ensure completion of transactional intercompany activities within the team, such as:
Monitor intercompany approvals and recurring charges
Generate and review transaction processing error reports, including ERP issues
Post manual entries at month end and input receivables/payables for netting and repayment activities
Validate payment proposal and track unpaid balances
Review and approve journal entries for intercompany transactions between legal entities including accounting for non-product and product transactions, management fees, and intercompany loans
Review consolidated intercompany balance sheet reconciliation, ensuring all variances are investigated, resolved, and accompanied by clear explanations for any discrepancies
Support dispute resolution with the business and serve as an escalation point for unresolved intercompany disputes
Collaborate in creation of standard operating procedures
Review and advise on terms of intercompany agreements and maintain related documents
Analyze and monitor intercompany foreign currency exposures
Identify opportunities to improve intercompany processes
Participate in projects as required
Perform monthly account reconciliations
Qualification
Required
Professional accounting designation (CPA, CA, CMA, CGA) with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
Ability to embrace change and have a 'process improvement' mindset
Excellent communication, analytical and organizational skills with a high attention to detail
Demonstrated time management skills to meet deadlines as well as flexibility to adapt to changing priorities
Ability to work in a collaborative team environment
Knowledge of IFRS is necessary
Advanced level Excel skills
Exhibit pro-active collaboration across finance groups to achieve cross functional success
Preferred
Knowledge of Oracle, SAP ECC, SAP S4, BPC and PeopleSoft are an asset
