Responsibilities
Supervise AP and AR clerks, ensuring proper processing of invoices, payments, and receipts
Review and approve vendor and customer transactions for accuracy and compliance
Performs month-end close, journal entries, and account reconciliations
Assist with periodic inventory reconciliations and variance analysis
Assist with the conversion of foreign currency transactions into functional currency for accurate financial consolidation and reporting
Maintain internal controls and ensure adherence to GAAP
Coordinate with plant-level personnel for timely submission of accounting data
Provide training and guidance to AP/AR staff; act as backup for their duties when necessary
Serve as backup for Senior Accountant during absences, including financial reporting and analysis
Assist with audits and provide documentation as required
Perform special projects and other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
3–5 years of progressive accounting experience, including AP/AR oversight
Strong understanding of GAAP and internal controls
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
