Required

Be at least 21 years of age

Possess a bachelor's degree in public/business administration, Behavior Science, Counseling, Secondary Education, Health, Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, Criminal Justice, Social/Human Services, or any equivalent combination numbers of years' experience, education and/ or training that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position

Military experience and training is acceptable

Three (3) years of experience in juvenile treatment (Residential, Behavioral, Detention, Corrections, etc.)

One (1) year of supervisor experience

Current Staff in this position must have completed Youth Care 101 and ROP Essential Subjects Training in Operations, Treatment and Human Resources

The outside applicant selected must complete this same training within 6 months of hire date

Must meet all individual state-specific licensing requirements in addition to ROP requirements regarding education and experience

Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug screen, physical, and TB test

Be able to pass a search of the child abuse central registry
