As a Junior Textile Designer, you will support the creation and development of textiles across multiple home categories, working closely with senior designers and cross-functional partners to bring trend-driven products to life.

Responsibilities
Assist in developing original textile designs across various home categories, including prints, patterns, textures, and fabric constructions
Support material and fabric selection, color coordination, and surface design development
Conduct trend, market, and material research to support seasonal design direction
Help prepare and maintain basic tech specifications, including material details, construction notes, and finishing requirements
Collaborate with Product Development, Sourcing, and Production teams to ensure designs are feasible, cost-effective, and aligned with quality standards
Communicate with vendor partners as needed to support sampling, revisions, and development follow-ups
Assist in organizing design files, samples, and presentation materials throughout the product development process
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Textile Design, Fashion Design, Fine Arts, or a related field
1+ years of experience through internships or entry-level roles in textile, surface, or product design (home décor experience a plus)
Foundational understanding of textile construction, materials, and manufacturing processes
Strong sense of color, pattern, and material aesthetics
Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop; InDesign a plus
A portfolio showcasing textile or surface design work (prints, patterns, materials, or school projects) is required
Preferred
Basic experience with CAD tools or technical drawings is helpful but not required
