Responsibilities

Lead and execute SOX 404(b) compliance activities, including risk assessments, control design, testing, and remediation

Partner closely with business process owners to ensure effective internal controls over financial reporting

Coordinate with external auditors and internal stakeholders throughout the audit cycle

Identify control gaps and drive timely, sustainable remediation efforts

Research, interpret, and implement new accounting standards (US GAAP)

Prepare technical accounting memos for complex transactions, including revenue recognition, equity, leases, and business combinations

Support quarterly and annual SEC filings (10-Q, 10-K) as needed

Provide accounting guidance to cross-functional teams on new initiatives and transactions

Drive continuous improvement in SOX processes, documentation, and efficiency

Support the scaling of controls and accounting processes as the business grows

SOX 404(b) experienceTechnical accounting knowledgeUS GAAPPublic accounting experienceCommunication skills

Required

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA strongly preferred)

5–8+ years of relevant experience in public accounting and/or public company environments

Strong SOX 404(b) experience is required

Solid technical accounting foundation under US GAAP

Experience working in a fast-paced, evolving organization

Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines

Strong communication skills with the ability to partner effectively across teams
