Associate Producer
The Institute for Justice is looking for a full-time in-house portrait photographer and documentary videographer to join their award-winning production team. The Associate Producer will work individually and as part of a team to create compelling visual content that tells the stories of their clients.

Responsibilities
Plan, shoot, and edit photo and video content in our office’s studio or while traveling
Qualification
Required
1-4 years of professional experience as an environmental portrait photographer, filming documentaries and/or other non-narrative projects
Experience working with tight deadlines
A portfolio that demonstrates understanding of techniques for optimal lighting and composition in photo and video
Familiarity with professional cameras (Canon Cinema or similar)
Familiarity with lighting and grip
Familiarity with editing with Adobe Premiere and/or Davinci Resolve
Familiarity with drones (or a willingness to become an FAA certified pilot)
Practical on-set experience is a must
Ability to lift 50-pound equipment bags
Flexibility to travel, sometimes on a weekly basis
Preferred
Audio editing and post-production color work experience is preferred but not required
