Quality Assurance & Data Specialist

Goodwill Industries of Central North Carolina works to enhance the dignity and quality of life of individuals and families. The Quality Assurance & Data Specialist assists in quality assurance, compliance, and data management activities for the Career Development Services team, conducting audits and managing the CRM database.

Responsibilities

Reviews, inspects, and audits a variety of records to assess compliance with processes and quality standards
Collects, maintains, and organizes data from multiple sources
Tracks, reports, and follows up on audit findings and prepares trend analyses for management review
Analyzes data to identify process improvement opportunities from audit results
Develops and provides technical assistance and training to staff on quality assurance matters
Monitors changes in regulatory, funding, and accreditation requirements
Supports implementation of new and revised internal controls
Maintains CRM database, including creation of reports and workflows to meet department needs
Develops departmental scorecards and supports business planning efforts
Creates department invoices and billing records

Qualification

Lean Six Sigma certificationData managementMicrosoft ExcelCRM database managementAnalytical skillsOrganizational skillsProblem-solving skillsOral communicationPresentation skills

Required

High School Diploma or GED required
2-years' experience in a related field required
Excellent skills and understanding of office software/technology
Must have strong skills in use of Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel, Teams, and SharePoint
Excellent researching, organizational, presentation, and oral communication skills
Ability to independently negotiate competing priorities and facilitate productive relationships with diverse teams
Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills

Preferred

Additional secondary education or training in business management or related field preferred
Lean Six Sigma certification and/or data management training highly preferred
