Business Development & Sales Lead
VIBE Media is a full-service content production agency that helps companies tell compelling stories through high-quality content. They are seeking a driven and self-motivated Business Development & Sales Lead to build and execute their outbound sales and lead generation engine, focusing on lead generation, outbound sales, and sales systems management.
Responsibilities
Identify, research, and prospect ideal clients in target industries
Use Apollo to source, enrich, and segment lead lists
Qualify leads before moving them into the active pipeline
Run outbound campaigns via email, LinkedIn, and direct outreach
Book and lead discovery calls with qualified prospects
Ask strong discovery questions to uncover pain points, goals, and ROI potential
Position VIBE Media’s services as business solutions, not commodities
Own and manage the sales pipeline in HubSpot
Ensure accurate deal stages, notes, and reporting
Build and refine automations, sequences, and follow-ups
Maintain clean data hygiene between Apollo → HubSpot → ClickUp
Design scalable sales workflows and outreach systems
Test and improve messaging, sequences, and targeting
Track performance metrics and optimize based on results
Work closely with leadership and creative teams to scope projects
Support proposal creation and pricing conversations
Drive deals to close and manage handoffs post-sale
Qualification
Required
Proven experience in B2B sales, business development, or agency sales
Comfortable with outbound sales and commission-based compensation
Strong discovery, objection-handling, and value-framing skills
Hands-on experience using Apollo for lead sourcing and list building
Hands-on experience using Apollo for email sequences and outbound campaigns
Hands-on experience using Apollo for contact enrichment and segmentation
Hands-on experience using HubSpot for pipeline and deal management
Hands-on experience using HubSpot for tracking sales activity and reporting
Hands-on experience using HubSpot for managing contacts, companies, and deal stages
Ability to connect Apollo workflows into HubSpot pipelines
Experience using ClickUp (or similar) to manage workflows and internal handoffs
Familiarity with sales automation tools and AI-assisted outreach
Comfortable working independently without heavy oversight
Build and maintain a consistent pipeline of qualified leads
Minimum outbound activity agreed weekly (20–30+ contacts)
Book 6–8 qualified discovery calls per month
Maintain clean, up-to-date pipelines in HubSpot
Close new business within the first 90 days
Actively contribute to long-term retainer growth
