Responsibilities
Responsible for third party due diligence and construction monitoring for commercial real estate transactions
Work with lenders to obtain, and review required third party diligence items to properly monitor, document, and secure commercial real estate transactions and construction projects; ensuring compliance with established company policies, industry standards, sound risk management practices, and regulatory requirements
Qualification
Required
3+ years of experience in real estate-related work environment; title company, land management; real estate agency, appraisal or land surveying office, financial institution, or related setting
1+ years experience utilizing a loan origination or loan processing system
Understanding of real estate appraisal methodologies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements (like USPAP and FIRREA)
Knowledge of real estate title documentation such as title insurance commitments and policies, ownership conveyance documents, surveys, mortgages, real estate construction process including budgeting, cost analysis, contractor qualification review, and construction draw review
Ability to review environmental assessments for accuracy and completeness
Strong organization skills, ability to manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines
High school diploma or equivalent
