Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain services, systems and operational infrastructure that enable delivery of hardware and firmware to AWS data centers globally
Collaborate with cross-functional product vertical and firmware development teams to solve challenging technical problems and drive system designs that shape the future of our infrastructure
Stand up operational infrastructure to manage services and systems at scale across multiple geographical regions
Qualification
Required
2+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
1+ years of designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
7+ years of administrative experience in networking, storage systems, operating systems and hands-on systems engineering experience
Knowledge of systems engineering fundamentals (networking, storage, operating systems)
Experience programming with at least one modern language such as C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell, Ruby
Preferred
Experience with PowerShell (preferred), Python, Ruby, or Java
Experience working in an Agile environment using the Scrum methodology
Experience leading the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems, or experience building complex software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers
5+ years of continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) experience, or degree in advanced technology
Knowledge of fundamentals of networking, security, databases (relational or NoSQL), operating systems (Unix, Linux, and/or Windows)
Experience communicating clearly and effectively with different functional groups including senior business leaders, finance, HR and developers
Working Knowledge of server component hardware
