Responsibilities
Implementation, and management of data warehouses or other data management solutions that ensure seamless access to critical business data from all relevant sources
Assist with design, development, and maintenance of interactive and actionable PowerBI dashboards and other high-impact analyses
Optimize existing data structure / tables and ensure data is clean, structured, and accessible for decision-making, financial analysis, and reporting purposes
Identify opportunities to streamline reporting processes, automate data collection, and improve efficiency in accessing key performance indicators (KPIs)
Help drive data strategy and product as it relates to data ingestion, warehousing, automation, governance, and BI reporting
Assist with the development and enforcement of data governance and best practices for data handling and reporting
Build capabilities and help drive continual technical and functional improvement of business users and personnel through training, knowledge transfer, and day-to-day issue resolution
Develop and maintain documentation for data sources, PowerBI dashboards, and data pipelines to ensure long-term sustainability and knowledge transfer
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Analytics, Information Technology or business-related field
Minimum 5 years of experience in database management, data analytics and business intelligence role in consulting or private equity-backed corporate environment
Direct experience with M&A and post-acquisition integrations
Certifications in database programming and experience with modern big data approaches (i.e. NetSuite, Salesforce, Snowflake, Tableau, Power BI, Open Air (NetSuite projects), SQL)
Proven ability to analyze complex data and translate it into actionable insights that drive strategy and decision-making
Preferred
Previous experience working in a private equity-backed, growth company environment or exposure to private equity from a consulting perspective is a plus
