American Oncology Network is seeking a Director of Operations Finance to support financial aspects of practice operations. The role involves analyzing financial results, preparing compensation allocations, and fostering collaboration among departments to drive operational improvements.

Responsibilities

Provide support from time to time with “ad hoc” reports and data assembly for inter-department use and for other AON departments as well

Analyze company financial results with respect to profits, trends, costs, compliance issues and cash needs

Review and present monthly financial reports for each AON practice as assigned along with comprehensive analysis of each practice as assigned

Assist in preparing provider compensation models in alignment with compensation agreements and coordinate with Sr VP Operations team and Payroll team to enact payments on a monthly basis or quarterly basis as applicable

Manage relationships with other department leaders to promote collaboration in areas not limited to but including revenue cycle, insurance needs, payroll and human services

Develop analysis criteria with benchmarks and timelines for monthly work- flow

Required

BS, Finance or Accounting required

7 years of experience in finance/accounting roles

Past physician practice experience ideal

Knowledge of or aptitude for learning complex financial models

Proficiency in MS Office Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook required

Preferred

Experience with Prophix is a plus
