Responsibilities
Utilize Internet, Computer App and Excel to assist in risk management for Steel Tech using such factors as:
Ratio Analysis, profitability, margin and EBITDA trends
Cash flow analysis
Working capital, liquidity and capital structure review
Z-Score review
Bond Rating, stock price and market capitalization trends
Use SEC 10-K, 10-Q, financial statements for STTX Financial Questionnaire
Pull Credit Bureau reports from various databases
Assist in use of models for analysis of customers
Review and synthesize existing reporting for credit limit needs
Update Excel files with additional information
Review credit files to determine need for updated financial information
Assist in contacting customers to request financial information
Assist Credit Specialists in the invoice correction process and generating invoice copies and other tasks as needed
Special projects and other departmental tasks as necessary
Qualification
Required
Higher level college student with a major in or demonstrably strong aptitude for a business field such as Accounting, Finance or Economics
Team player with excellent interpersonal skills and customer skills
Able to meet deadlines
Detail orientation with proven ability to process minutiae and distill appropriate facts
Strong process orientation
Effective communication, organization and problem solving skills
Integrity – the job requires being honest and ethical
Analytical thinking – requires analyzing information and using logic to address work-related issues and problems
Dependability – job requires being reliable, responsible, and dependable, and fulfilling obligations
Computer skills: familiarity with use of internet for research, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
