Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive review of all conditions precedent to filing of lawsuits, including review of pleadings, exhibits, and other supporting materials
Draft and review pleadings and correspondence during the course of litigation
Ensure all internal systems are updated to include findings, documentation, and recommendations
Exercise a high degree of confidentiality and professionalism
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws relating to debt collection
Handle contested matters, including discovery and trials
Qualification
Required
3-5 years litigation and/or collections experience
Ability to prioritize workloads
Ability to meet deadlines
Exhibit attention to detail
Produce high-quality work product in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work independently
Strong interpersonal skills
Strong analytical skills
Pennsylvania Bar membership
Juris Doctor
3-5 years legal experience
Strong computer and general office skills
Exceptional organizational skills
Ability to effectively communicate through both verbal and written correspondence
Preferred
Bar membership in other states (Georgia, Florida, South Carolina, North Carolina)
