Virtual Office Manager
The Gospel Coalition is an organization dedicated to connecting the contemporary Church to the ancient Gospel by providing vital resources and support to church leaders. The Virtual Office Manager will provide administrative support to ensure smooth daily operations, including managing physical mail and digital correspondence.
Responsibilities
Retrieve physical mail from TGC’s local mailbox on a consistent weekly cadence
Digitally scan, organize, and securely store mail as needed
Route mail to appropriate staff members with clear context and prioritization
Flag time-sensitive or legally significant correspondence immediately
Oversee and manage designated TGC shared inboxes
Process incoming messages, respond where appropriate, and route items to the correct teams or leaders
Maintain inbox organization, filters, and basic documentation to ensure continuity and clarity
Identify patterns or recurring requests and propose workflow improvements
Qualification
Required
1–3 years in office administration, virtual assistant work, or operational support
Demonstrated experience managing shared inboxes, administrative workflows, or executive support tasks
Strong organizational systems mindset with exceptional attention to detail
Ability to manage recurring tasks independently and reliably with minimal oversight
High degree of discretion and integrity when handling sensitive or confidential information
Strong written communication skills with the ability to summarize, route, and escalate information clearly
Comfort working across multiple tools (email platforms, cloud storage, task management systems)
Self-starter who follows through consistently on routine responsibilities
Alignment with The Gospel Coalition's mission, vision, and theological convictions
