Responsibilities

Defend companies in civil conduct investigations

Obtain clearance for, or oppose, large and complex mergers and acquisitions

Litigate Section 1, Section 2, and Section 7 cases in courts across the country

Represent companies in DOJ, FTC, FCC, and state attorney general investigations regarding civil and criminal antitrust issues

Provide general antitrust compliance counseling related to product pricing and distribution

Required

3 – 5 years of experience in antitrust law

Experience at the Department of Justice Antitrust Division (DOJ), the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), an active state attorney general antitrust bureau, or at a law firm working on DOJ or FTC antitrust matters and civil antitrust litigation

Experience handling civil conduct or merger and joint venture analysis and investigations

Experience litigating antitrust matters, including drafting substantive motions and briefs and participating in depositions and witness prep and interviews

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

A track record of insightful research and analysis

Persuasive writing abilities

Ability and willingness to assume immediate responsibility

Willingness to work as an integral part of a high performing and collaborative team

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

Bar membership, active and in good standing, in the DC or New York Bar (depending on office location)
