Architectural Millwork Shop Lead
reSAWN Timber co. is a company that combines production efficiency with high-touch craftsmanship in their woodshop. As the Architectural Millwork Shop Lead, you will oversee the fabrication of custom architectural elements while ensuring a quality-driven and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities
Fabricate custom stairs, millwork, and trim packages
Operate machines: jointing, planing, shaping, ripping, resawing, chopping
Perform power-tool tasks: drilling, routing, driving, biscuit/domino cutting
Execute hand-tool work: planing, chisel work, fastening, glue-ups
Finish work: grain popping, filling, sanding, final inspection
Maintain machinery (jointer, planer, table saw, shaper, bandsaw, wide belt)
Maintain and tune tools: replace bits/blades; hone cutters and irons
Identify issues proactively; complete minor repairs/adjustments
Lead and participate in maintaining a clean, safe, organized shop
Manage lumber inventory/tallies; assist with scheduling and documentation
Coordinate workflow with internal teams; attend weekly cross-team meetings
Collaborate on best practices with the lead woodworker; provide informal coaching
Qualification
Required
3–5 years of woodworking experience (production, fine woodworking, cabinetry, or millwork preferred)
Proven skill with hand tools, power tools, and shop machinery
Mechanical aptitude to fix, calibrate, and tune equipment
Fluency in shop math and reading shop drawings
Organized, detail-driven, and committed to a clean workspace
Strong communication and interpersonal skills; collaborative mindset
Ability to offer informal guidance to less experienced teammates
Comfort with Google Workspace and basic tech tools
Ability to lift 50 lbs or more
