Responsibilities

Support the execution of business development initiatives across the running track and tennis court segments, including both new construction and maintenance/repair opportunities
Develop and maintain a dynamic pipeline of prospects and key influencers that align with strategic growth goals
Assist in the preparation of proposals, presentations, and follow-up communications to ensure a professional, customer-centered sales experience
Conduct research to identify and qualify prospective clients, markets, and project opportunities
Participate in marketing campaigns, tradeshows, conferences, and association events to build industry presence and brand awareness
Manage accurate data entry and opportunity tracking in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to strengthen client relationships
Coordinate with internal estimating, operations, and design teams to ensure seamless project transitions and high-quality outcomes
Support the renewal of annual maintenance agreements and recurring service partnerships
Generate regular sales and market reports to inform business development strategies and decision-making
Availability for regional travel up to 50% of the time to visit job sites, clients, and key partners

Required

Bachelor's degree in Sales, Business, Construction Management, Marketing, or a related field (Engineering, Architecture, Planning, or similar)
2–5 years of experience in sales, marketing, project management, or a related customer-facing role
Valid driver's license and ability to travel regionally (up to 50%)
Brings initiative and an ownership mindset, actively seeking opportunities to build relationships and grow business
Demonstrates curiosity and enthusiasm for learning technical aspects of running track and court systems
Strong communicator, both written and verbal, able to connect effectively with clients and internal teams
Proven ability to deliver exceptional customer service that builds trust and long-term partnerships
Excellent organizational and time-management skills; capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously
Analytical thinker who can identify opportunities and propose creative, customer-focused solutions
Confident using CRM tools and digital communication platforms to manage leads and interactions

Preferred

Interest or experience in sports construction, surfacing, or related industries
