Responsibilities

Develop and implement overall security strategies, policies, procedures, and guidelines that align with business objectives and regulatory requirements

Oversee the daily operations of the SOC, ensuring effective 24/7 monitoring, incident detection, analysis, and coordinated response to physical security, safety, and business continuity events using advanced security technologies (e.g., access control, video surveillance, alarm monitoring, and crisis communication tools)

Possess strong Leadership Skills

Manage a diverse team of security staff, contract security services, and potentially specialized analysts. This includes hiring, training, performance management, and professional development

Conduct regular risk assessments, security audits, and vulnerability testing to identify potential threats to the facility, making recommendations for mitigation and corrective actions

Develop and maintain robust incident response, emergency action, and business continuity plans. Coordinate with local law enforcement, fire departments, and other emergency responders during incidents and drills

Oversee the installation, maintenance, and operation of electronic security systems (e.g., access control, video surveillance, alarm monitoring, and crisis communication tools). Collaborate with Project Management, Engineering and IT teams

Compile, review, and manage the security budget, track costs, and oversee third-party vendors and contractors to ensure cost-effectiveness and service delivery standards

Act as a primary liaison between the Client, security personnel, tenants, contract service providers, and senior management to ensure alignment and effective communication on security matters

Required

Bachelors Degree or 3 – 5 years' experience in a similar role - with a commercial real estate background

3 - 5 years experience in a corporate security management, property management, or law enforcement/Military environment, with significant experience in a security operations center or control center setting

BSIS Qualified Manager Certification must be obtained within 6 months of hire
