The Graphic Designer will be responsible for creating high-fidelity 2D graphics and collaborating with software engineers to design and implement user interfaces for customer training software.

Responsibilities

Specialization in producing high-fidelity 2D graphics

Craft motion graphics and ensure implementation by software engineers is solid

Design for desktop-based and/or tablet-based UIs

Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with software engineers and other stakeholders

Illustrate design ideas to product stakeholders using mockups as needed

Provide feedback to software engineers as designs are implemented to ensure user experience is cohesive and accurate

Regularly workshop efforts with the Creative Director and the Creative Operations team to maintain a cohesive design and user experience of the digital product

Leverage design thinking and questioning techniques to develop strategies where pathways are not clear

Performs other duties as assigned

Required

Bachelors' Degree in Graphic Design or related field. Additional years of experience may be substituted for degree

Working knowledge and skill in design tools, for example, Photoshop, Illustrator, XD, After Effects, and/or other Adobe Creative Suite products, as well as optional (but not required; see Preferred below) prototyping tool like Sketch, Figma, Balsamic, etc

Excellent communication skills, including the ability to present complex concepts clearly and persuasively across audiences at various levels of understanding

Attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills

Ability to work with other designers and developers to implement new ideas

Ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense (DOD) Security Clearance
