Responsibilities
Maintain supporting schedules and prepare and post journal entries for monthly, quarterly, and year-end closings
Reconcile balance sheet accounts, including bank accounts, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and prepaid/deferrals
Assist with fixed asset accounting, depreciation schedules, and capital expenditure tracking
Prepare Letters of Credit
Reconcile and analyze inventory accounts, including raw materials, WIP, and finished goods
Assist with MRB reconciliation and disposition
Monitor labor, overhead, and material costs for accuracy and completeness
Support cycle counts and year-end physical inventory processes
Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports
Provide cost and margin analysis by product line, customer, or project
Assist in preparing budgets and forecasts
Identify trends and variances and provide recommendations for corrective actions
Ensure compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies
Support process improvements in financial reporting and internal controls
Assist with compliance reporting (sales tax, property tax, government filings)
Assist with Export licensing and controls
Assist with Bank financial covenant reporting
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
1–3 years of accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing
U.S. persons only, per ITAR regulations
Strong understanding of GAAP
Experience with Manufacturing ERP systems
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, analysis)
